Twitter's api seems simpler, but jaiku feels more 'robust' and that will no doubt improve with google.
JaIku has #channels and comments, which i like a lot. also the built in feed capabilities.
the Api also lets you set location. expect google map and mobile integration soon. imho. And it will no doubt get built in to the forthcoming gPhone mobile OS.
